The Republic of Yimanga
Description of Country
Yimanga is a very diverse country, we accept anyone and everyone. Our form of government is a republic. This means that Yimanga’s power is held by the people and the representatives that they choose to elect. Yimanga includes everyone in decisions that we make, and we include each and every person that lives in the country. The president makes decisions and then asks for approval from the people, and if they accept his decision then he will proceed with the decision. Everyone in Yimanga either speaks English or French. Yimanga is an island that is located in the middle of space. It is surrounded by purple and pink water and is a neighboring nation with Earium, Otanga, Qûwåńâñį, and Shopping Valley of Mall.
Yimanga was named when the president had a father who had passed away. His father’s middle name was Yimanga, and he decided to give him the honor of having a country named after him. He was very close with his father and he wanted to feel as close to his father as he felt when he was still alive. Yimanga has a very diverse geography. It has multiple mountains but it also has many valleys, rivers, and lakes. The temperature in Yimanga averages from 50°F to 60°F. There are no deserts or tropical places anywhere in Yimanga. Yimanga only has mountains and valleys as their land masses. Yimanga's vegetation consists of creatures that live on our island, and plants that grow near us including lettuce, leaves, and other vegtables.
Economy
Yimanga has a knowledge economy. This means that we use our knowledge to create goods and services. It mostly refers to a high portion of skilled workers in the economy and the idea that most jobs require specialized skills. Yimanga has a very strong military that is prepared for any war or fight that may happen to surprise them. Yimanga has four main trading partners that help it to get over its issues. The first trading partner is Shopping Valley. They help us to get goods like clothes, shoes, accessories, and more things that people buy from us. The second trading partner is The republic of Qûwåńâñį. They help us to get more healthy food and drinks. Our third trading partner is Otanga. They help us to get many more resources for building, plants, and many more things. Earium is one of our few allies that Yimanga has. The two countries that Yimanga usually goes to war with are United peace Mania and GreenStones.
Citizen Process
A person that is trying to become a citizen in Yimanga can only do it one way. To become a citizen in Yimanga you must go through the naturalization process. You first need to meet the expectations to become a citizen, including no criminal record, hardworking, and willing to do many things to help our country. Once you meet those expectations you can apply for the process, and you will attend an interview so that we can make sure that you will be a good fit for our country. If you do eventually get into the country, you need to keep being a good person and you need to keep exceeding the expectations. If we see that you are causing harm, chaos, or anything that we do not like then we will have the right to ban you from our country. If you are ever banned from the country you will not be able to come back ever again.
Duties and Responsibilities
The people of Yimanga are held to very high expectations for what they do and what their duties are. Some of the many things include attending court when they are called for jury duty, obeying each and every single law, pay taxes, and many more. Failure to do these will make you have to attend court for questioning and if you are proven guilty you will get consequences. If you have been proven guilty of failing to do your responsibilities once and you fail them again you will go to jail for two weeks. Failure to do your duties for the third time will result in being banned from Yimanga or being jailed for three years and paying double your taxes for three years. If you choose to be jailed for three years and once you get out you fail to pay double for your taxes, then you will be permanently banned from Yimanga. You will have no other options instead of to leave the land.
Current Major Issues
Yimanga has many major issues at the moment. Some of those issues include drug issues, obesity, and our death rate. Our country is in the top eight percent of drug use in the world. This issue started when president Fishna Yunga passed a law about being able to use marijuana freely. Our obesity rate is in the top twenty-three percent of the world. The cause for this problem was that not many healthy and nutritious foods were being imported to Yimanga, so many people had to survive off of junk food. Our death rate is in the top eighteen percent of the world. Many of the causes of all of these deaths are heart disease and natural deaths.
Tourist Attractions
Yimanga has many different tourist attractions that bring many people to visit our country. One of the many things are our beautiful beaches. Our beaches are not like any other. They attract all different kinds of people and and animals. The reason that our beaches are so popular is because we aren’t located on the earth. Our beaches consist of purple and pink colored water, many different kinds of fish and animals, and our weather that’s always perfect. One of our other very famous tourist attractions is our famous extraordinary pet zoo. This zoo is not like any other, our zoo consists of many different kinds of half breeds, aliens, and many other extraterrestrial animals. The reason that this zoo is so popular is because whichever animal you want you can take! Each and every single animal is up for adoption and that is what makes this zoo so special.
Unique Cuisine
Yimanga has a lot of unique cuisine, but I will only be saying one or two in this paragraph. Our first cuisine is potato pickle pea pie. This dish is made with pie dough, pickles, mashed potatoes, and peas. You start off by laying the pie crust in a pan and first putting pickles down, you then add a layer of mashed potatoes on to the pickles and then you add a layer of peas. You repeat this process until the whole pie crust is filled with these layers and you bake it in the oven for four hours. This dish has been passed down from generation to generation and we have a potato pickle pea pie making contest on Christmas. The second very fine cuisine is raspberry cream cheese stuffed chicken. This is eaten every Easter, and it is chicken stuffed with raspberries and plain cream cheese. This is Yimanga’s leader’s favorite dish.
