The treaty further established the Kingdom of Rocha Sur and <>, with an arbitrary dividing live dissecting the island. | The same year the Treaty of Division established the Kingdom of Rocha Sur, [[Nevan Barela]], descendant of a noble family related to the line of Queen Rios of Beriso, was appointed the head of the Rochan government, becoming Nevan I. Nevan I laid claim to the Rochan throne arguing that the island had typically been a possession of the Beriso Barony, and as such, was his to claim since he would have been the rightful heir to the Aisling kingdom had it continued to exist. The Imperial government encouraged the Rochan people to accept this claim, as well as encouraging other former noble dissidents to travel to Rocha Sur and establish their royal households there.
