BadeKobold, often just called the Bathtub Goblin (translated), is a malevolent Bösepenst that originates in the Homeland, TECT. It is said to be the size of a child (around three to four feet) and be covered in light hair fur on its back, chest, and legs. Its hands have claws and its feet are more animistic in terms of claws and shape; its eyes are bloodshot and its teeth to be incredibly sharp, it is always described to be always grinning or smiling. BadeKobold was known as a child eating goblin that often haunted homes in order to devour children. It targeted dirty children who refused to take baths or clean themselves, though it had no problem devouring other children. Infants who are not properly kept clean would also be devoured by BadeKobold. BadeKobold would either lay in wait in bathing areas for the child to eventually return or around the home for the child to return; it was known to hunt children within town limits and to break into homes late at night to devour children in their rooms, or kidnap them and devour them when alone.
Ancient Commoners would often use this story to scare children to bath properly and to keep clean. Although there were many stories of children going missing or being killed within bathing areas that may have been the myth's origin. BadeKobold became a popular story between before and during the 1st century when bathing became very popular in ancient TECT. Stories tell of BadeKobold being a species while others speak of only one. Some stories say that BadeKobold possess the ability to pass through walls, while some say it uses its powerful legs to break into homes; BadeKobold usually only spotted after leaving the scene of the crime. BadeKobold was said to also desecrate bathing areas by shaving its fur, using the bathroom anywhere it pleased, and would cause inconveniences inside the bathing area. Its main priority however is to devour children who are dirty and refrain from cleanliness, for they are the tastiest; clean children were said to have removed the filthy odor that attracted BadeKobold to them. The story of BadeKobold is still used today to frighten little children into bathing properly and to keep clean. Child molesters and other offenders who hurt children are often called "BadeKobold" in TECT as a nickname; often child rapists, molesters, cannibals that eat children, and child murderers are nicknamed after the BadeKobold.
