Anne Şerifistan (Mother Sharifistan) is the national personification of [[Sharifistan]]. She is depicted as a young Hijabi woman carrying a scimitar. She is ubiquitous in Sharifistani culture appearing in everything from military recruitment posters (calling on the young men of Sharifistan to defend her) to Communist propaganda (where she is  is often depicted as being beaten by pigs in top hats, symbolising capitalists) as well as being depicted in advertising and even pornography (though this is legally considered as unpatriotic insults, blasphemy and obscenity). If a child is in state care then the Sultan or Prince-Regent is considered the legal father with Anne Şerifistan being considered the legal mother.
