The Grand Nagus of Prybourne (Spanish: Gran Nagus de Priborn) is the Executive Head of the National Conglomerate of Prybourne. He is both the political leader of the Conglomerate as well as the economic leader. Virtually all decisions that affected Prybourne are required the approval of the Grand Nagus, whose power are supportedby the Prybourne Bill of Opportunities and backed by the First Clerk and Prybourne Commerce Authority. The Grand Nagus possesses the ability to appoint a Grand Proxy to act in his name in matters which he was unable or unwilling to deal with personally. A Nagus can also overrule the decisions of the National Board of Executives.
The Nagus's offices are located in the Tower of Commerce in Duron, where he presides over the nation from the Chamber of Profit. Petitioners regularly sought to speak to the Nagus to solicit advice on business ventures and decisions. In doing so, they were required to pay their respects by providing the Nagus with a hefty gift of money or other valuables. After doing so, their petition will be summarized by the First Clerk before the Nagus reaches a decision.
