English Socialism (WLW)

English Socialism is the official state ideology of the nation of Oceania. It follows principles of state Communalism, Totalitarianism, and Social Darwinism following the apocalypse on Earth. It is a very eugenic ideology and promotes cleanliness of the populous in terms of health, and not race. The state of Oceania applies these policies to the deformed, diseased, and disabled in any situation.

Principles

The principles of IngSoc in the simplest terms are, "Communalism with eugenics.". In Oceania, this is what is seen on a daily basis, as the totalitarianism of the ideology reins supreme. This was developed by Edward Lawrey in his manifesto. The communalism of the ideology gives the ideology the socialist aspect, while the Social Darwinism comes from a need to make the world bettwr after the apocalypse.

Fringes

Fringes of the ideology are mainstream Social Darwinism and Cult Communalism. The Social Darwinist fringe promotes far-right extremism and nationalism, with no regard of rights to the disabled or minorities deemed undesirable. Their philosophy revolves around that the Inner and Outer party have earned their right to be there and are therefore, the most qualified to run Oceania. The Cult Communalist fringe is not as organized as the Social Darwinist fringe. They are made up of many religious groups and organizations that seek to turn Oceania into a theocracy of their religion. They are opposed by the atheistic community and some in the Social Darwinist community for being wackos. Both fringes have little influence and inside the Party, their ideologies have been mixed in with regular English Socialism.
