Operation Ouriachos was an offensive launched by Syara during the Zemplen War.
Having been halted on their drive west by the Kurilla Mountains, the Syaran Commonality Armed Forces had suspended major offensives out of fear of heavy losses after losing more than half a million troops throughout 2009. Rather than focusing on large scale operations, Syaran command and control shifted to smaller, local offensives pertaining to limited objectives. Ouriachos was intended to attempt to seize control of a potential route through the Kurilla Range on the path towards Hajdúböszörmény, which lay over 150 kilometers behind Ruvelkan lines. The Syarans, hoping to avoid heavy casualties, began the offensive on 12 December amid heavy snowfall with a slow rate of advance. Deeply entrenched Ruvelkan defenders parried multiple Syaran attacks, and despite some tactical successes the Syarans were unable to breach Ruvelkan lines. The offensive was called off on 21 December, after an advance of just 2.5 kilometers.
