Formerly an order awarded by the Ardouinian Christian Church, successive presidents and legislatures of Fratanica have opted to continue this order.

Francis Ardouin had been responsible for a new reformist Christian church, with his ideas gaining popularity in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Ardouinian Christianity became the official religion of the Sovereign Kingdom of Boulon in 1707, under King John I of Amron.
