Biography
Early Life
Connor was born on the sixth day of the month of May in 1984, to a father unaware of his own heritage and his partner, in the city of New Atherton. His academic talents were noted early within his school life. Records show that in his first year of education, he scored full marks in every weekly spelling test, and that he read all of the books in his schools literacy program years several school years before he had been expected to complete it.
He had a reasonably unremarkable middle-class upbringing. He mostly kept to himself according to the accounts of peers and teachers ; being an avid fan of the Willisville Wyverns and competed in the 1994 national youth chess tournaments, reaching the quarter final stage.
In later childhood, he continued to achieve highly and be commended for his attitude towards schoolwork. Around this time, he developed a significant interest in politics, among many other things. He left high school passing all subjects, most of them with flying colours. Tragically, his father was killed in a traffic accident in 2001.
Early Adult Life
Connor finished college in the year of 2002, attaining the necessary grades for entrance to university, where he chose to attend the University of Pearsonville studying Economics and International Relations. He got married to his long term partner in the summer of 2003, once joking that it was purely for extra student finance and tax breaks. Completing his undergraduate studies in 2006, he chose to complete a Master's degree in the subject as well.
As Emperor
When Emperor Jeremy I had risen to power via conquest in 1930, he had enacted secret plans to hunt and down and kill other members of the nobility who had a stronger blood claim to the throne than he did. This sent many of the nobility into hiding, especially as the Emperor's sister betrayed him and gave many nobles some forewarning about his plans. Unfortunately for Jeremy I, his own two sons died before they could inherit from him and the military took charge of the country for many years. At the end of 2007, there were many riots and protests across the country against the military regime calling for its downfall, some calling for the monarchy to be restored and some calling for free and democratic elections. By the end of spring in 2008 the military government began looking to appease the protesters and get the country functioning once more, promising them both a monarch and an elected government. Many documents were declassified in an effort to find the noble with the strongest claim - those descended directly from the last Empress of the Empire of Castarcia herself. It was revealed that Duchess Harriet of Atherton, known to have direct lineage, had successfully gone into hiding and not been caught. An effort to find her descendants led them to Connor's late father whose DNA was in the national database after committing misdemeanours in the 1990's. Duchess Harriet of Atherton was Connor's great-grandmother.
