The nucleon (sign: Nc; code: PLN) is the official currency of the People's Republic of Rhaetia. It is subdivided into 50 munaida.
Though the nucleon has been used in Rhaetia since the Revolution of 1973, each of the three regimes since then have issued their own versions. Following the end of the civil war in 1997, the new government issued the new versions at a slow rate, following a careful establishment of the Banca Retica as the state central bank. The nucleon has been experiencing more difficulty recently, experiencing inflation of up to 8.9%.
