Littland is a federal parliamentary republic. Federal legislative power is vested in the parliament consisting of the Folkekammer (lit. People Chamber) and Landskammer (lit. Lands Chamber), which together form the legislative body. The Folkekammer is elected through proportional representation of political parties, with a 4% electoral threshold. The members of the Landskammer are appointed by the governments of the seven states.
