Lands Chamber), which together form the legislative body. The 183 seat Folkekammer is elected through closed list proportional representation of political parties, with a 2% electoral threshold. The members of the 42 seat Landskammer are appointed by the governments of the seven states, each state sends 6 members.
States
Littland is a federal state and comprises 6 constituent states and 1 capital state, which are referred to as Delstater. Each state (Delstat) has its own constitution and is largely autonomous, some topics however, such as foreign affairs and defence, are the responsibility of the federal government.
