The Greican Armed Forces are the combined armed service branches of the Constitutional Republic of Greica. Consisting of the Ground Defense Army (GGDA), Deepwater Navy (GDN) and Air Force (GAF), they are supplemented by a tri-service military reserve force.

Leadership

Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense is the civilian arm of the Greican Armed Forces, and also controls the 3rd branch of the government, the Enforcement Branch. The Ministry of Defense dictates the training, usage, and eligibility terms for the armed forces, police, paramilitary, and intelligence services in Greica. While the President of the Republic is technically Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, the Minister of Defense is the official leader of the military. The President of the Republic is more so a figurehead position.

Joint Chiefs of Staff

The Joint Chiefs of Staff are the military leaders of the carious branches of the Air Force. The members of the JCS are typically the highest-ranking member of their particular branch. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the highest-ranking member of the entire military, and the Vice-Chairman just below them. The Joint Chiefs main purpose is to advise the Minister of Defense and the President of the Republic on the current state of the Armed Forces, lead the development of training curricula, devise large-scale military operations in conjunction with senior leaders of their respective branches, and conduct joint peer-to-peer training exercises on a domestic level and internationally. The following are total members of the JCS:

  • Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
  • Vice-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
  • General of the Army
  • Admiral of the Navy
  • Marshall of the Air Force

Additionally, the Joint Commanders of Military Districts and Operational Commands (JCMDOCs) are considered members of the JCS, although they are advisors to the Joint Chiefs in particular. The following are the military districts and operational commands:
