Roman Soloviev is a Kossmlilan semi-professional player whos plays as goalkeeper for Kossmil Super League side, Lokomotiv Kislovat and he currently the captain of the Kossmil national team. He considered by many as one of the best players to come from Kossmil.
He grew up in the city of Kislovt and with support from his family, he signed for his hometeam football youth academy of Lokomotiv Kislovat at the age of five in 1998. He move up to the first team of Lokomotiv in 2009 when he turn 16 and started in the first team in the same year against local rival Kislovat United FC when the Lokomotiv first choice goalkeeper was injury and the game ended 0-0, it was Soloviev only game in 2009. he became Lokomotiv first choice goalkeeper in 2010 and played ever since, he won 15 out of the 20 Best goalkeeper awards when Lokomotiv Kislovat was playing in the regional and now dissolved Perun League. 2021 he will still play for Lokomotiv Kislovat in the recently formed Kossmil Super League.
in 2021 he was called up to the recently formed Kossmil national team and he became the captain of the national team, he played 5 times for the Cobra's so far.
Club Career
Lokomotiv Kislovt
Soloviev signed for his hometeam youth academy of Lokomotiv Kislovt at the aged of five, he struggle at first because of his mother death from cancer has affected him and he was close to quitting but his father and grandparents encouraged him stay in the team. Soloviv then started to rise through the ranks on the team with his hard work and top performances on the pitch, he won a lot of awards in the youth team including the best player of the youth league.
In 2009, he was promoted into the first team of Lokomotiv Kislovt as a second choice goalkeeper at the age of 16, he was the youngest player in the first team and in the league that Lokomotiv was playing in which was the recently dissolved Perun league. he started his first game for Lokomotiv when their first choice was injured and it was against their local rival Kislovt United and the game ended 0-0, it was Soloviev only game for the team in 2009.
Soloviev became first choice goalkeeper of Lokomotiv in 2010 as the team original first choice retired because of constant injuring problems. Roman played all of Lokomotiv games in 2010, Lokomotiv finished second place in the league and he won the rookie of the year, he also won best goalkeeper of the year. Soloviev played for Lokomotiv for almost 21 years and he won the best goalkeeper award 7 times, he won best player of the year 5 times and he won 4 league titles. in 2021 he is still playing for Lokomotiv but their will now starting playing in the new start up league called the Kossmil Super League.
