History

The Imperial Capital was the 3rd settlement to ever be established within the Empire, settled c. 1458CE. At the time, the seat of the Government was Joletig, renamed later on to Joliet. It wasn't until the 1692, shortly after the navies of the British Empire attampted to foribly annex the town through a failed invasion of Jolethig, in which the British torched multiple building before being driven from the shores by the Shazonite Protection Authority. Using hit and run tactics and ambushes to thin our the British ranks to the point in which her majesty's navy decided to leae and it wasn't worth it to continue to pressure the Shazonite people into submission.

With that, the Shazonite Authority began the construction of a new captial facility in what was to become the new seat of Government for the Shazonite People. Over the next 100 years, with the capital being moved to the new Settlement, which was first named Mewanate, but renamed Shaz City after the very first Emperor, Shaz Bot. THe location of the capital has moved 7 times throughout it's timeframe in Shaz City, and taller and taller buildings continued to be constructed, continually changing the landscape of the city throughout the years. Now, home to 8 of the 20 tallest skyscrapers in the Empire, it has become the shining beacon for the Empire.
