The Alezian Union has participated in the Worldvision Song Contest a total of ten times, seven times as separate entities of North (plus Pantabang Islands) and South Alezia, and three times as a reunified country.
North Alezia debuted in World Hit Festival 52, with Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul's "Kalimat" placing 6th, the first time that North Alezia placed in a top 10 position in an international song competition which was considered as a feat at the time. Since then, North Alezia has entered top 10 every edition, even into reunification.
Meanwhile, South Alezia debuted in World Hit Festival 53, with Kay Wattefs. During its course of participation, South Alezia has always received bottom 10, and would become a laughingstock of the world.
As a unified country, the nation has received top 10 positions in every edition since it's debut as a reunified country in World Hit Festival 59. After the 60th edition, the Alezian Broadcasting Authority temporarily withdrew from the competition due to financial and creative reasons. However, the nation returned to the competition at the 66th edition. As of the 66th edition, the nation has not won the competition.
