Battles/warsAquitaynian War of Independence

Turcellius Adventus was a legate in the Empire of Exponent who played a pivotal role in the early phases of the Aquitaynian War of Independence.

Early Life

Adventus was born into a military family on the island of Marci Evangeliste, in the Mare Ferum.

As a young man, Adventus enrolled in a military academy and completed his studies at the age of 18.

Military Career

Adventus began his military career by being appointed a lietenant in the Imperial garrison on Marci Evangeliste, and two years later he was appointed as a captain in the Imperial dragoons. in that capacity, he was deployed to put down several tribal uprisings in Hesperidesia and was eventually given command of the 9th Dragoons.

Aquitaynian War of Independence

Shortly after the Aquitaynian nobleman Ser Vaer Lothreg raised his army, the local Imperial Viceroy dispatched Adventus to intercept the rebel force, resulting in the Battle of Crucifix Hill.

Having been defeated, Adventus pulled his army back to Telora, where they prepared for a siege. Much to his surprise, however  that siege failed to materialize and Adventus was able to regain the initiative through a series of offensives, culminating in the Battle of the Tanz and the capture of Lothreg and many of his officers.

Later Life

Adventus would reture to a plantation outside of Acconia, in central Hesperidesia.
