The Zhiguryian Civil War was a protracted armed conflict that took place in the former Empire of Zhiguryia from 1925 to 1937. It saw fighting between the Zhiguryian Royal government and Zhiguryian Socialist forces The conflict began on 2 September 1925, when Underground leftist groups assassinated Members of the royal Family with the stated purpose of overthrowing the Zhiguryian monarchy and establishing a people's republic
