Norska, officially known as the United Kingdoms of Norska, is a North Deus country in Northern Deus, the mainland territory which comprises of the entirety of the northern portion of the Deus continent. The northern half of the Ekania island in the Skull Sea in the Atlantic Ocean is a part of Norska as well. Poalenia, located in the center of the Huitztlanecuilt continent, is a dependency of Norska. The capital city of Norska is Simpak and the largest city in Norska is Kobelk
The country shares two long borders with Kigwari in the southeast and Zoroa in the southwest. Norska has an extensive coastline, facing the Skull Sea to the west, the Noran Sea in the north and the Zoroan sea to the east. The maritime influence dominates Norway's climate, with mild temperatures on the southern coasts. The maritime influence brings high rainfall and snowfall to some areas of the country. The polar north has extreme colds, mostly in the minus throughout the year, while the south interior gets variying temperatures and is considerably drier. The east has an varying temperatures that often go to the extremes.
Clarie Nurin is the current King of Norska. Iana Heradóþr has been prime minister since 2022, replacing Mikia Irmandóþr. As a unitary sovereign state with a constitutional monarchy, Norska divides state power between the parliament, the cabinet and the supreme court, as determined by the 1801 constitution. The kingdom was established in 1801 as a merger of five major kingdoms.
Norska has both administrative and political subdivisions on two levels: provinces and counties. The Kroati people have a certain amount of self-determination and influence over traditional territories through the Kroati Parliament. Norska is the founder of the G7. In addition, the Noran language share mutual intelligibility with Tomahek.
Norska has universal health care and a comprehensive social security system, and its values are rooted in egalitarian ideals. Norska has large ownership positions in key industrial sectors, having extensive reserves of oil, natural gas, minerals, lumber, seafood, domestic animals and fresh water. The gas industry accounts for around a fifth of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).
Although the majority of Norska's population is ethnic, in the 21st century immigration has accounted for more than half of population growth.
Etymology
From Old Tomahe-Noran nora, from proto-North Deus *nor ("north, ice)", from proto-Deus *h₁ner- (“inner, under”). Alternatively, borrowed from proto-Germanic *nurþraz (North), from, proto-Deus *h₁ner- (“inner, under”). Alternatively, from a substrate pre-Deusian geographic borrowing naru (“people of the North”)
