Solus Sol Vextor (12 October 37BGD - 8 December 20GD) was the First King of Solarius, and instrumented the Solen Doctrine, unifying the Island of Solais. Solus went on many military conquests & spread his ideals to the other people of Solus. He was revered by a cult called the Cult of Sol. In 20GD, he died in Sol peacefully with his friends and family by his side, one of the few times both groups of people would be able to witness the death of a King.

Solus united the Island of Zavis with other elders, and was proclaimed the Grand Chief of Zavis in 15BGD. He modernized the island of Zavis and passed many reforms that helped the people of the island. His land reforms and taxation reforms helped limit the amount of money people could be in debt for. Many historians credit his law of Princeps Intelligentiae Progressio which made school mandatory for children 3-20 years of age, for reforming the education system. During his military campaigns, he conquered key areas and started freeing slaves from other tribes and deeming Slavery Illegal by the Crimen servitutis of 2BGD. He appointed the first Chancellor of Solarius, Xauis Kai, in 5BGD.

In 1BGD, Solus started the Isle Wars, a war against all neighboring islands of Solus. The War was a victorious one, but didn't achieve every goal that Solus hoped for. After the War, Solus began focusing internally on the nation, improving infrastructure, establishing a school system, and investing into agriculture and scientific advancements. His Minister of State, Vul Nexus, was instrumental in help securing money for the projects. It was during the turn of the Century, that the first National Holiday was celebrated, the Feast of Apollo, which happened on January 27, 1BGD. It is the longest holiday ever to be celebrated.

Early Life

Born in the outer reaches of Space by Celestial Beings of the Universe. He was raised in the Palace of Galaxtia, in Milky Way Galaxy. He had 100 thousand brothers and sisters, each destined to rule a world. He was trained for the power of King, but it was up to him if he could succeed. He was sent to this world by his Parents to make a nation on this planet. He was destined to be the greatest ruler of all of the Celestial Islands. He learned the language of the people of the land, make sure he would be accustom to their customs. He learned his teaching from a educated, yet poor, farmer. His name was Xauis Kai. It was after the teaching of Kai, that he carefully planned his rise, getting a small following from the locals to become Grand Chief of Haijo. He sent his followers to convince the chiefs to pledge allegiance to Solus. All 25 chiefs agreed to have an meeting to discuss the unification of the island. The meeting was held in the long house of Chief Arbtos Doius. The chiefs all voted for unification and Solus was proclaimed the Grand Chief of Haijo in 15BGD.

Grand Chief of Haijo

During the time of being Grand Chief, many people were in poverty, with just the chieftain's friends and family being rich and prosperous. Solus didn't see this as a positive notion and hoped to raise them into at least livable conditions and to do so, he raised a council on economic affairs in hopes to improve the island and its people. The most experienced councilman was Jero Akida, who specialized in economic reform and helped some villages from starvation. Jero lead the council in decisions, and help plan the economic decisions, which was called the Jerois Plan. The Jerois Plan was worked on during Solus tenure as Grand Chief into his position of King. Many credit Jero as the feeder of the nation, and he & his family were well rewarded for their contributions, making him the first Minister of Agriculture. In 14BGD, In the town of Igla, there had been an uprising in the town as the townspeople wanted little to no taxes. At first, Solus wanted to concede to the demands to prevent any bloodshed, but when they killed the chieftain of the town & his family, Solus raised an army to squash the rebellion. When the two sides met, Solus tried to reason with them, but during his speech, he was struck in the shoulder by an arrow, injuring him in the process. His generals ordered the attack, and with it, the peasant army was destroyed but the village remained standing upon the orders of Solus.

King of Solarius

On 10th of October, 12BGD, Solus was in a council meeting, when the Chief of Gaikos, Chief Yasunda Alko, gave a proposal to the Council. It was to proclaim Solus as King of Solarius.
