Name | Image | Origin | Type | Numbers |
---|---|---|---|---|
V-74 | Elatia | Main battle tank | Both VA-74M2 and VA-74M3 variants are equipped by Charnean tank forces in significant numbers. A Charnean modernization package of the VA-74 exists, featuring a second generation thermal sight, commanders thermal viewer, and upgraded ERA. VA-74 variants are the most common battle tank in Charnean service. | |
Tizurdam | Mutul Charnea |
Main battle tank | Variant of Mutulese T1 battle tank. Small numbers purchased from the Mutul, designated Tizurdam-M, are mostly identical to those produced under license by the Ikyan Corporation which are designated Tizurdam-I. A modernization program with improved optics and ERA protection, designated Tizurdam-IM, entered service in 2010 with most Tizurdam tanks being subsequently upgraded to the IM standard. | |
A84 Inabarom | Charnea | Infantry fighting vehicle | Most numerous armored vehicle in the Charnean Army's active units. Manufactured by the Ikyan Corporation since 1984. A standard variant armed with 20mm autocanon, a 90mm canon armed variant, an anti-tank variant fitted with a turreted A97A2 Tegere ATGM launcher, a mortar carrier variant and a command vehicle variant are all in active service across the mechanized units of the Charnean Army. | |
IBV-81 | Elatia | Infantry fighting vehicle | Imported Elatian IFV, modified with turret capable of firing the Charnean A97A2 Tegere missile. | |
TAK-1 | Mutul | Armored personnel carrier | Modern APC imported from the Mutul. In service as a custom variant requested by the ICA, featuring a modified design for improved performance in desert terrain and better mine protection. | |
Tihettan Tazoli | Zacapican Charnea |
Armored personnel carrier | Copy of the Zacapine TNT armored vehicle acquired from Itayana, produced by the Ikyan Corporation under the designation Tihettan Tazoli ("Steel Box"). Primarily used in APC configuration, but also found in service as a self-propelled gun, anti-aircraft vehicle and commonly as a logistics support vehicle. | |
A45 Torka | Charnea | Armored car | Indigenous Charnean scout vehicle and armored car design of the mid 20th century. Produced in large numbers and retrofitted to equip modern vehicle weapons including ATGM launchers. Phased out as a combat vehicle from most active formations but still used by the ICA border guards, by active units as a scout vehicle, and kept in storage in large numbers. | |
UR-53 | Mutul | General utility vehicle | Used in high readiness formations as a transport, logistics vehicle and scout car. Rejected for full adoption by all units of the ICA due to the preference of some units to convert unarmored civilian trucks to use in the same roles at much lesser expense. |
