The Thalassic Federation Ground Forces is divided into 3 distinct commands, each focusing on one area of the Army's responsibilities.
Force Command (FOCOM) encompasses all conventional land-based maneuver forces of the Thalassic Federation Ground Forces, as well as Corps-level organic supporting units. As of 2022, GROCOM maintains 2 armour brigades, 8 mechanized (wheeled) brigades, 9 light infantry (motorized) brigades, 1 cavalry brigade, 1 airborne mechanized brigade, and 2 airborne infantry brigades in its active forces for a total of 23 active brigades. For reserves, FOCOM currently maintains 1 armoured brigade, and 4 infantry brigades for a total of 5 reserve brigades.
Army Logistic Command (LOGCOM) is responsible for Army-wide logistics. Everything from ammunition and missiles, to uniforms and food are acquired via LOCOM and then dispersed to the other commands when needed. LOCOM also maintains prepositioned Army stocks where able and fleets of mothballed reserve vehicles.
Military College and Army Training Command (MC&ATCOM) both trains all new soldiers and officers of the Army, but also develops and publishes all doctrinal, training, maintenance, and skill manuals used by the Army.
