Prince Richard of Hanover (Richard Thomas Charles Alexander; born 5 August 1999), known professionally as The Prince, is a British singer, songwriter, activist, and a member of the British royal family. The only son of King Thomas and Christy Turlington, he is currently the second in line to the throne, as the heir presumptive to his sister, Queen Alexandra.
A talented and noted performer at a relatively young age, Richard initially found fame with a live rendition of Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" at the age of twelve at his primary school, which he then followed up with another live rendition of Elvis Presley's Jailhouse Rock (song)|"Jailhouse Rock"}} at the age of eighteen, during which he became noted for his versatile singing style and his often lively and energetic performances. Then, upon graduating high school, Richard, together with his fellow high school friends, Benjamin Adams and Richard Moss, founded the vocal group, The Prince's Men, with Richard himself as the nominal leader and lead vocalist. Almost immediately, in the first year since the band's establishment, the group found instant massive success with the release of their debut single, This Is Who We Are, which won them multiple awards at various awards ceremonies. Since then, the group, in addition to their similarly-named debut album, has gone on to release two further albums to date, with both albums seeing general success upon their respective releases.
In addition to his music career, Richard is also actively involved in several charitable causes, namely climate change, unemployment, and poverty, along with the likes of his family members.
