The 2023 Terre-Columbien presidential election will be the 86th triennial presidential election in the Federal Republic of Terre-Columbie, scheduled for May 27, 2023. Voters will select delegates, which will in turn elect the president on June 2nd, 2023. Half of these delegates will be elected in state-wide elections, while the other half will be proportionally appointed on the federal level. These delegates will elect a new president and chancellor, as incumbent Ludovic Villeneuve has opted not to run for re-election. This will be the first election in which people aged from 25 to 30 years old will be allowed to run for president.
The three primary candidates were decided by a popular vote within their parties. Former Governor of Nouvelle Dourie Marie-Claire Rochette won the Parti Magnolia nomination after beating out various candidates including Senator Julien Villeneuve from Édianne and former Governor of Valois Fernand LaRue. Political broadcaster Sylvain Beaumanoir was selected without contest as the Républicaine candidate after the withdrawal of former nominee Louis W. Montfort. Violette Déjour Korkowska, daughter of former president Ronaud Déjour, was selected as Liste Gauche nominee after defeating both former nominee Sophie Nemours and incumbent Governor of Valois Joseph Gérin-Lajoie.
Many other candidates are running in the election. Only two of these have appeared on major polls, these being Jean-Yves Thibodeau of Action Nationale and Remy Sartre of Alliance des Citoyens Verts.
