Utapadus Elis Futbolo, is a professional football club based in the city of Utapadus in central Wassilia. The club was founded by workers of the Elis Company, a textile business based in Utapadus, for a leasure activity of its workers. As the sport of football grew exponentially in the 1940s, the team registered for Pro-Am status in Wassilia's football league. Starting off in the central regional league the club ascended quickly up to the first division. The club competes annually in the Pirmas Lyga, the top level of professional football in Wassilia. The club has won the league championship on six occasions with a record of five consecutive wins from 1988-1992. The other championship being in 1952. UEF also has 8 runners-up finished including the second season of Pirmas Lyga competition in 1948.
History
When the Primas Lyga was created in 1947 Utapadus Elis was selected as one of the original ten clubs to comprise the first season.
Supporters
Utapadus Elis are the only top tier club in the city of Utapadus, so the major rivals for the supporters are the Tyonek capital clubs as well as FK Vermontias in the Austaras River rivalry.
