The monarchy of the Union of Esthursia, constitutionally and colloquially referred to as the Crown, is a hereditary sovereign who rules as the de facto constitutional head of state of Esthursia. The incumbent monarch is Arthur VI, who acceded to the throne on 22 April, 1947 upon the abdication of his father George X, months after the death of Arthur's grandfather Edward V in January 1947.
