Xinjiao was a rebellious, semi nomadic theocratic government during the Michurian Chaos Period. Xinjiao was notable for venerating the ancient Zheng god Naimo, the embodiment of death. The state reached its apex in the 1870s, following its annexation of Pingshan. Xinjiao was subsequently defeated by a resurgent Concert of Michu, though was not fully crushed until 1908. Followers of the Xinjiao religion remain within contemporary Michu, though undergo significant repression.
