The Copa Nacional de Maracana belongs to the Confederación de Fútbol Maraqueña, and teams from the Liga Profesional de Fútbol Maracaneño participate in it. The tournament was created to be played alongside the Apertura 2023 season, and is currently in progress, with no past champion.
