The Alternative (Hverlandic: Kostgjafi) is a social liberal and green liberal party in Hverland. The party has described their economic policy as a "best of both worlds" approach: supporting the vast welfare state of the Social Democratic Party and the Visionary Party, and the pro-business agenda and competitive free market advocated by the Liberals and the Conservative Nationals. The party wishing to make Hverland carbon-neutral by 2030, a goal shared with The Greens.
