In 1970, three leased Boeing 747-100s were introduced into the fleet, operating the Airline's flagship route to Kalush, with only one stop, that being Colombo in Sri Lanka.

1946-1959 Pre-Jet Age

Air STR began service with a DC-3 Service between Pale and Panem, with an pair of stopovers in Zeal and Acina being necsessary for the Piston powered airliner,these services continued several times per day, until the Cove to coast Pale-Circunses service was inaugurated in 1950, using Douglas DC-4 aircraft, which replaced the DC-3s on most of the services operating in the nation.
