Praxius IX (7 June 1699 - 25 October 1798), also known as Praxius the Great (Praxius Magnus) or the Moon King (Luna Rexovis) was a Solarian King that reigned from 1723-1772. His reign was surrounded by military victories and economic reforms. Although Praxius IX was emblematic of an Absolute Monarch, he surrounded himself with a variety of advisors from all walks of life and political beliefs. Even though the Senate was heavily restricted during his reign, he did allow the local governments to have elections by the people instead of appointing them.
