A mutual friend, who had worked with Winter previously, recommended her to Sims. Sims was reluctant to allow Winter to audition a first, believing she would not be able to believably portray the mannerisms of a fresh out of college 23 year old woman.  however, with all other options exhausted, she agreed to meet with her. After speaking with her for only five minutes, he changed his position and immediately asked her to accept the role. Madisyn Winter is a Aisling actress best known for her role as Krina Bitee in the hit sci-fi/western series Nautica. She was raised in Flores, located in northern Temuair. She began acting at age 12 when she was cast in hit Apex Kids show Sleuths. Since then she has appeared in a variety of mainstream media productions. She is generally valued for her extremely young appearance, allowing her to play roles which would usually require a younger actress.

Early life

Career

Winter's first mainstream media appearance was in 1998. She was one of four children chosen by Apex to star in a new Apex series intended for children; Sleuths. The show was two be about four middle school friends who solved mysteries while also meeting the demands of middle school life. She shown ran for three seasons and was ultimately canceled when actor Jan Kyles died from a drug overdose at the age of 16.
