The Ecumenes of Azakayana is a federal directorial republic in which the Directorate and the Grand Council share powers on the federal level. The federal government shares sovereignty with the governments of the Ecumenes, the main political units of Azakayana.
The federal government is comprised of two branches: the executive branch, consisting of the Directorate, and the legislative branch, consisting of the Grand Council. Laws on the local, ecumenical, or federal level are ratified by the consensus of 75% of the voting population.
