Vyaparam Vedan is a Mel-akkan politician and former computer scientist serving as the current Deputy Leader of the Government of Mel-akkam, as well as the leader of the centre-right Liberal Democratic Party, having presviously served as Leader of the Government from 2022 to 2023.
Early Life
Vedan was born in 1996 to the noted Indian businessman Arvind Vedan and his Mel-akkan Dravidian wife in Delhi. After their divorce, he was taken by his mother to live in Mohenjo-daro, and later studied computer science the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States.
