Consoles are subdivisions of the TL&M that are under 20 miles, subs closer to the 20 mile limit might be given a name, but dispatchers use the console number to identify the track.
Texas Consoles
- Console 1; Studemont St Switch to Stupter St Switch
- Console 2; Pine Vally Yard to Commerce St/Hutchins St Railroad Crossing ((Pine Vally Sub)
- Console 3; Benson St Jct to Galena Park, TX (Galena Park Sub)
- Console 4; Port Terminal Yard to Jacinto Port (Clinton Park Sub)
- Console 5; Harrisburg Yard to Port of Houston (La Porte Sub)
- Console 6; N 20th St to Lipsey Dr (McAllen Spur)
- Console 7; Guadalupe St to Flood Control Tunnel Outlet Park
