In 2022, a Kurultai was convened in the city of Korla, under the jurisdiction of the Second Golden Horde. 33 representatives of clans were summoned, while 66 members were popularly elected.

Gurkaniyan
Elections in Gurkaniyan are not considered to be free and fair, as only married Muslim men over the age of 40 ("electors") are fully enfranchised. The votes of a Muslim woman over the age of 40 or a Muslim man under the age of 40 are counted for 1/2 of that of an elector. Non-Muslims, meanwhile, vote in a separate process for the single "minorities" seat.
