Early life
Alina Kosova was born on 23 January 2001 - the only child of Alyona, a doctor, and Alexander, a construction worker. According to the singer during an interview with What's New!, for as long as she could remember, loved everything to do with singing and music. At the age of four her parents tried to send her to Osti Royal Academy of the Arts, but were forced withdraw her from the musical school because of bullying and Alina constantly being made fun of by her classmates due to her speech impediment. Continuing the to study music at home with private tutor, she started to experiment with different genres and develop her signature style. It was only at the age of 14, that she was finally able to overcome it with the help of psychologists and the support of her parents.
According to the singer, her musical journey officially began when she joined a local music group in March 2015.
