History
Origins
The origins of of Siluan bawdy entertainment are not clear and it is still topic that is widely researched and debated within Siluan foreign scholarly circles. Part of the difficulty in discerning the origins of bawdy entrainment in Silua is the lack of written accounts prior to the formation of the Siluan nation state in the 10th century also following the creation Silua. There is little that survives of Pre-Monarchy Siluan texts and starting with the Monarchy Period, much of what little there was written has either been lost or intentionally destroyed. The the 1440s are widely recognized as the point at which bawdy entertainment, in its currently recognized forms, began to grow in visibility and it is also the period when a great deal of importance was placed on understanding it and its effects on Siluan culture.
