Port-au-Prospérité is the capital and largest city of Cote d'Cuivre, and is home to the largest port in Northeast Hesperidesia. As the primary port of the nation, it handles most of the country's major exports, such as oil, cocoa and coffee, timber, metals and fruits. The city sits on the estuary of the Bowari River, and has a tropical climate.

History

By the turn of the 19th century, Beriquois rulers began exploring deeper into Hesperidesia, rather than simply viewing Cote d'Cuivre as merely a stopover point en route to Sythith. As such, a larger port city. situated on a major river that could grant greater inland access was necessary.

In 1826, the Beriquois government decided to expand four villages near the mouth of the Bowari River, and began operations to develop a port. That year, the new town was given the name Port-au-Prospérité.
