The Battle Flag of Anagonia was the first known flag to represent the cause of the nation upon its inception as a political entity. Originally designed as a "Battle Flag" for the factional entity led by Colonel Tiberius Samsus, who would later go on to become the 1st President of the Confederate States of Anagonia, it represented the cause of Tiberius as Warlord during the Anagonian Civil War. After formal statehood of the victorious political entity, the Battle Flag would eventually be delegated to represent the Military of the young nation as it was seen as "too aggressive" for diplomatic representation.
