Erwin Juhel Abaev (/ˈɑːbaɪv/ A-baev; born September 23, 1999) is a Nivesian politician affiliated with the Forward Party. He currently serves as one of the Nivesian senators representing Illinois since 2051. Before his political career, Abaev worked as a news producer for NBS.
Born in Fort Worth to a Georgian father and German mother, Abaev was the Forward nominee in the 2047 special election for Illinois 6th congressional district, which had long been considered a Democratic stronghold. The special election proved competitive. It generated national attention, and became the most expensive House election in North Laurentian history.
