The Battle of the Moselle was one of the opening battles of the Sieuxerrian-Saintonge War, sparking Sieuxerr's involvement in the Pan-Septentrion War. The battle would feature some of the first losses, but also a number of small but important tactical victories for the Sieuxerrian Army. It is one of the largest combat river crossings in history, with dozens of divisions crossing, many at times crossing under fire.
