A next generation light bomber and ground attack UCAV, the Vulture is designed for long term missions, responding to attacks on friendly forces as soon as it is assigned to respond. Using network centric warfare systems control of the aircraft can be quickly shifted from a control station, to its home base, or to a soldier in the field with proper control equipment. The Confederate Military utilizes the QA-20 as its primary UCAV platform.
Description
The QA-20, sometimes nicknamed the VUCAV, has the possibility, with regular aerial refueling, to be kept in the air until it runs out of weapons. This advantage, along with several other advantages with its utilization of small rocket pod weapons systems and small guided munitions, makes the QA-20 a formidible opponent on the battlefield if left unchecked. It is designed to work alongside the M2108 Mobile Command Vehicle and with support, if provided, by an active M2107 Mobile Radar Vehicle. Should its connection to its controller base be broken, whether by battle damage or enemy jamming, the Vulture will try to patch into a friendly communications network to link up to another control station. If that fails it will autonomously return to the base it origininated from.
