Jonathan Catalá (born 4 November 1988) is a North Kandsonian politician who currently serves as the National Assembly Chairman since 2022. He first entered politics being elected to represent his home district in North Chocaster in 2014 at the age of 26, and from 2019-22 served as the Minister of the Economy and Innovation. A member of United Kandson, Catalá initially was a loyalist of president Perie Jefferson, but since 2022 has been one of his harshest critics due to Jefferson's suppression of pro-democracy demonstrations after a controversial reelection.
