Revision as of 01:30, 9 September 2024
This is a general Ausonia-related sandbox thread. I'm probably not going to categorize this one.
NOTE (3 SEPTEMBER 2024): AS OF TODAY, ALL SANDBOX-RELATED CONTENT IS FOR THE REWRITE ONLY, WITH VARIOUS BITS AND PIECES PORTED OVER FROM PRE-EXISTING CONTENT
Ausonian currency
- Decimalised in the 1930s
- Various denominations still preserved (unlike when the UK decimalised)

- Essentially a mish-mash of the German (ARD) and Dutch (NPO) public broadcasting systems
- Comprised of both regional broadcasters that have separate facilities and member associations that share facilities with the regionals
- Airtime for
- Funding is by a mixture of television license fees, state funding, and advertising. Those then are split 50-50 between the regionals (by population) and member orgs (by number of members)
