The Heroken Split was a war raged between the Kingdom of Tiami and the House of Hath Teliel. Hath Teliel, led by Tal Vashok, rose up in rebellion against Tiami Kingdom following a two centuries of waning influence and prestige, and aggravated pestilence. The Kingdom of Tiami had become corrupt and dictatorial, leading to a civilian uprising that ultimately culminated in war. The war began in 4301 BCE and would last a century, ending in 4201 BCE following the conclusion of the Battle of the Illuvian Plains.

The Heroken Split would dissolve the Kingdom of Tiami and the House of Hath Teliel would rise up to take the up the mantle of a new kingdom following the death of the Tiami King, Idinor. The war was fought over the course of a century, through a series of skirmishes and all-out pitched battles. Notable among the battles were the usage of dragons in military campaign, laying waste to towns and villages in an effort to stomp out enemy forces.
