Motorsport is widely popular throughout Astyria since the invention of the automobile. The region has hosted various motorsport series including Astyrian Formula One, the Astyrian Rally Championship, the Astyrian Endurance Championship, and the Astyrian Motorcycle Grand Prix Series. The Astyrian Motorsport Federation serves as the main governing body for four-wheeled and two-wheeled competition, while the Astyrian Powerboat Federation governs powerboat racing and the Astyrian Air Sports Federation governs air sports and airplane racing.
