Plot
The film is divided into parts:
Part I: The Change
Set in the lands inhabited by the Ancient Old Faithers in Northern Vabas, the people of the land praise their good fortunes and the wisdom of their King, Jebidiah. In the outskirts of the Holy Land of the Old Faithers a Shepard aged 21 named Elijah wanders with his flock of sheep into greener grass located atop a hill that oversee the Lands Beyond. When he sets up camp upon this hill a strange wind blows by his camp, and we see men on horseback heading towards the main city.
Elijah witnesses and see the destruction and is distraught at the sight and cry's out to heaven and the Knowing to heal the pain. The strange wind then returns and speaks to Elijah and tells him that he must lead his peoples out of this land and to the Blessed Placed (Carthia). At first many people doubt Elijah and do not listen to his warnings leading to the destruction of a villiage, this and the assent of the Dying King Jebidiah allows Elijah to bring and rally his people southwards.
