The Pragmatist Party is a left-wing to far-left political party in New California, founded in 2046 by Ben Sharpe. It is one of the fastest growing political parties in New California, amassing over 100 thousand members in only two years of existence. Though generally aligning with left-wing stances such as socialism and green politics, the party also advocates for some stances typically associated with right-wing politics, such as opposition to mass immigration and identity politics, as well as gun rights and protectionism, letting some draw connections to the Libertarian Party or the political views of Ross Perot.
