Council of the Logothetes

The Council of the Logothetes (Greek: Symvoúlio ton Logathéton) is the executive branch of the Theodoran government, akin to a cabinet. It is appointed by the Mesazon, the Principality's head of government, and is responsible to the Senate.

Logothetes (Logathéton)

Logothetes are senior ministers overseeing a major portfolio, such as foreign affairs or finance. The quantity and duties of logothetes are enshrined in the Constitution.

Court Secretaries (Asēkrētis tēs Aulēs)

Court secretaries are junior ministers overseeing less notable portfolios, such as Agriculture and Education. Court secretaries are not mentioned in the constitution, and their offices can be created or abolished by a Senate bill. The most senior Court secretary is the First Court Secretary, a position widely regarded as a sinecure.
